BLS Online Part 1

This course teaches Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED use as encountered in a healthcare setting. As well as use of the use of the AED. Upon completion of this course student will be able to provide emergent care for adult child and infant victims with and without advanced airways, and foreign airway obstructions. As well as recognize signs and symptoms for heart attack, stroke. And other cardiovascular problems common to health care providers.

Heartcode ACLS Anywhere

The online ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage cardiac arrest, stable and unstable cardiac rhythms, acute coronary syndrome, airway management and stroke of an adult. This course is designed for emergency department staff, intensive care units, or critical care departments, physicians, nurses, emergency techs, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The didactic portion is completed on your own time from your PC. After which a skills check is required.

Heartcode PALS Anywhere

The online PALS Provider course aids the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. The full course combines the interactive, CD-based cognitive portion featuring eSimulation, with PALS skills training. Part 1 includes interactive patient cases that test the user.s ability to apply the PALS algorithms to effect treatment. Skills taught include recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest; the systematic approach to pediatric assessment, effective respiratory management; defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion; intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration; and effective resuscitation team dynamics. During the hands-on portion of the course (Parts 2 and 3),users have the opportunity to practice their skills, then complete a skills test.

Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid Online Part 1

The Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid Course teaches individuals how to recognize and treat emergencies until advanced medical help can be obtained. Covering topics such as First aids General Principles, Medical, Injury, Environmental, Poison, and Temperature-related emergencies and Cardiac Arrest with AED. This class is intended for lay responders, law enforcement personnel, security personnel, workplace staff, life guards, corporate employees, individuals who require OSHA compliance, or any person wanting the training.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen Online

This course is for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials. The course takes about 1 hour and meets OSHA guidelines. This course teaches:

  1. What bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread
  2. Protection from exposure and how to act if exposed
  3. How to clean up after exposure
  4. How to tell or report any exposure
